Why is Marketing Important?
Marketing and public image represents your club and Rotaract. Having a strong club brand and online presence helps you connect with new members and keep current ones engaged. Marketing also helps your community see the impact your club makes.

Social Media Tips and Resources
Pick 1-2 platforms and excel on those (make sure they align with where your members are).
Use a content calendar to plan topics and posts ahead of time. Learn more about content calendars and get a template.
Then schedule your posts using a tool like Later, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social. Most have a free option.
Post pictures of your club in action, reshare member's photos, and respond to comments - keep it fun and engaging!
Branding Tips and Resources
Think (and talk to your members) about what your club's brand is. Consider your specific values, benefits, and how you want to be seen.
Put that brand everywhere! Add your logo to social media posts, consider a club banner, encourage members to wear pins or club swag.
Utilize the Rotary Brand Center for images, templates, and custom logos. Be sure to check out the Rotary brand guides as well.
Email Tips and Resources
Use a free mail marketing tool like Mailchimp to send professional-looking emails to your mailing list. Here are some email best practices to keep in mind.
Send meeting recaps, info about upcoming events, and member spotlights.
Don't forget to include members of your sponsoring Rotary club, other Rotaractors in your district, and potential members in your emails.
